On December 23rd, 2015, the decree 236/2015 was published in the Argentinian Official Gazette, which establishes the conditions for a 180-day period of intervention of the AFSCA (Autoridad Federal de Servicios de Comunicación Audiovisual) and the AFTIC (Autoridad Federal de las Tecnologías de Información y Comunicaciones). This intervention will generate a report about the current state, communications, and collaboration mechanisms between the two entities; as well as any proposed legislation changes. They will also evaluate the current property acquisition and recruitment processes, fulfillment of control policies, and budget execution.
Both Entities are currently unavailable, but are expected, with uncertainty, to resume activities during the first week of January.
