On December 21, 2016, the CRC published Resolution CRC 5068, which states that the ‘coming into effect’ date for type approval standards for data equipment and other equipment operating in the AWS and 2500 MHz frequency bands has been changed. The six month extension will begin as of July 8, 2017. In the meantime, the CRC will continue to issue Non-Suitability certification letters to activate ETM models.
