On October 10, 2016, the Finnish Communication Regulatory Authority (FICORA) published on its website an auction in the 700MHz band looking for interested parties. The auctioned spectrum is in the frequency bands of 703-733 and 758-788 MHz. A total of six pairs of 5 MHz each will be available in the bidding rounds. The frequencies will be used for national wireless broadband networks. Registration must be submitted by November 7, 2016.
