On January 21, 2016, with its publication on the Mexican Federation Official Diary (DOF), the Technical Disposition IFT-004-2016 came into force replacing the Technical Disposition IFT-004-2014, which lost its validity on January 19, 2016. The new Technical Disposition, named “interface to public networks for terminal equipments”, was approved after the public consultation of the Technical Disposition IFT-004-2015, ended on December 16, 2015.
