Thailand Releases IoT Trustworthiness Standard

Thailand has officially introduced the TIS 30149-2567 IoT trustworthiness standard, a major step toward ensuring secure and resilient Internet of Things (IoT) systems. This new national standard sets a framework for evaluating trust, safety, and reliability across connected technologies, reflecting Thailand’s commitment to cybersecurity and interoperability.

A Step Forward in IoT Trustworthiness

The newly published TIS 30149-2567 is aligned with ISO/IEC 30149:2021 and complements ISO/IEC 30141, which defines IoT reference architecture. This alignment ensures international compatibility and supports Thailand’s vision of a digitally secure ecosystem.

The standard outlines five key pillars of IoT trustworthiness:

Applicability Across Sectors
