The Telecom Engineering Centre (TEC) announced a partial modification with No. 5-2/2024-TC/TEC, published on 01/01/2025. The update addresses the acceptance of ILAC test reports issued by laboratories from non-border sharing countries for certain telecommunication equipment.
Here are the following products notified under MTCTE:
- Base Station for Cellular Network (up to 4G)
- SIM
- VHF UHEF Radio Equipment System
- Base Station for Cellular Network for 5G
- E-band Fixed Radio Relay Systems
The test reports issued by ILAC signatories (other than border-sharing countries)
should not be older than two years on the submission date on the MTCTE Portal.
The expiry date for accepting such test reports is 30th June 2025.
