The Department of Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada published the public consultation RSS-216, issue 3, “Wireless power transfer devices”.
This standard defines the requirements for wireless power transfer devices, including sources (transmitters) and clients (receivers). Key changes for issue 2 are the increase of maximum separation distance the inclution of limits in RSS-216 instead of referring to ICES-001, plus limits above 1 GHz, additionally the adoption of ANSI C63.30-2021.
The consultation will be open until July 2, 2024.
