With reference to the testing and certification of telecommunication equipment under Phase-IlI & Phase-IV of the MTCTE regime, as provisioned in Indian Telegraph (Amendment) Rules 2017, the following amendments are hereby notified with immediate effect as mentioned below:
a. Extension of date of mandatory certification of 32 products (ERs) covered under MTCTE
phase-Ill and IV by three months i.e. from 01.07.2023 to 01.10.2023. The list of 32 products is placed in Annexure-I.
b. Extension of date of mandatory certification of 12 products (ERs) covered under MTCTE phase-Ill and IV by six months ie. from 01.07.2023 to 01.01.2024. The list of I2 products is placed in Annexure II.
c. Extension of last date of acceptance of test reports issued by labs accredited by International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) signatories from non-border sharing countries by six months for technical parameters only ie. from 30.06.2023 to 31.12.2023 for the products mentioned in Annexure-IIl.
