The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) has informed ON January 07th, 2021 that User Equipment (UE) operating in 3GPP Band 20 (800MHz) shall now be certified.
The UE shall meet the following requirements:
1) Comply to the standard ETSI EN 301 908-13 (proven through submission of test report).
2) Other scopes of the product must comply with related MCMC Technical Code (e.g. 2G, LTE, WiFi, etc.) as stated in the Certification Requirement document.
The grace period of 6-months is granted effective from November 9th, 2020 to May 09th, 2021.
