Back

Entirety reports on January 10, 2019, The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) released a Public Notice stating which services will continue in operation and under what conditions while the now 20-day (and ongoing) Government Shutdown continues. Only essential services will continue during this Government shutdown and TCB (Telecommunications Certification Bodies) has been put on hold any new applications regarding equipment authorization or the issuing of certification grants due to the Equipment Authorization System not allowing access or support during this time. Moreover, only new process and/or submissions will be impacted; any ongoing processes prior to government shutdown will continue as normal as they have not been impacted during this shutdown.
