CANADA: ISED Published a Consultation for Bands 18.8-19.3 GHz and 28.6-29.1 GHz, 17.3-17.7 GHz, 19.3-19.7 GHz, and 29.1-29.25 GHz

ISED published in the Gazette Notice SMSE-016-18 to consult on the Utilization of the Bands 18.8-19.3 GHz and 28.6-29.1 GHz, and the Bands 17.3-17.7 GHz, 19.3-19.7 GHz and 29.1-29.25 GHz by the Fixed-Satellite Service.

This notice invites comments on proposals for a new spectrum utilization policy for the use of the frequency bands 18.8-19.3 GHz and 28.6-29.1 GHz by the fixed-satellite service (FSS), and on subsequent changes to licensing in the bands. Comments are also sought on changes to the spectrum utilization policy for the use of the frequency bands 17.3-17.7 GHz, 19.3-19.7 GHz and 29.1-29.25 GHz by the FSS.

Interested parties will also be provided with an opportunity to reply to comments from other parties. Comments will be accepted for 30 days after the publication of the comments.
