ISRAEL: MoC Calls for Comments on Wireless Regulations Amendment

Back

The Ministry of Communications has opened a public hearing containing the revised rules for approving wireless equipment. The authority highlighted that “The demand for radio frequencies has intensified in recent years, with the development of wireless applications in various fields – civilian, commercial and security. Along with the ease of regulation in allowing wireless devices to operate in the compatibility confirmation route, additional interests must be maintained.”

The regulation amendment reviews requirements for Wireless charges, RFID, SRD, WAS and RLAN for many frequencies ranges and harmonizing with ETSI and EN standards. Please see the attached document to have a better view regarding the proposed changes.

The comments can be presented until May 3rd 2022.
